Meet the Librarian

My name is Nancy Frith and I am the high school librarian at Meek High School. I am so very excited to be able to serve the students here at Meek. I graduated from Meek High School in 1989 then attended the University of North Alabama in Florence where I received a Bachelors and Masters in Music Education. I currently working on my Library Media Masters Degree at the University of West Alabama. I worked as a band director for 26 years. I began teaching at Madison County High School for 3 years, Meek High School for 18 years, and Priceville High School for 5 years. I am very excited to start my new career at my old high school. This web page will utilize book search, Scholar's Bowl page and as a teacher supplement to your classes. Future events will be a virtual book club and Adult GED classes. And always check out the What's Happening for events happening at school. I hope to utilize the library in new ways besides just checking out books. New services will be updated on this page so stay tuned...........
