Information: I taught 6th grade for three years and then junior and high school sciences for three years. I became an instructor at the University of Alabama shortly after leaving Meek and have since been helping others become teachers. I was at Austin College in Texas for four years, The University of West Alabama for four years, and the chair of education at Stillman College for five years. Then, I became the Dean of Education at Athens. I am very proud of all the Meek teachers, they are all true professionals, but I am especially proud of those at Meek who came from Athens State.
